New Item Shop lists with self taught items in almost every shop is the first great update for the new Age.

The Self Taught Item idea is meant for easier access to techniques and masteries.

Yes, I just said Mastery, you'll find out what that is soon enough.

Aside from that you can take a look at the couple ST (Self Taught) items listed down at the bottom of this Shop.

The second part of this update is the new character skill trees! Some of us have been looking forward to this great idea and so, i've managed to compile one in digital format. Here is a basic outline of what the a skill tree looks like.

As you can see Sharns tree is loaded with about 26 different Masteries, Techniques ect.. The maxiumum amount of that combination to be allowed in a tree is 30. The minimum is 25. How strong a technique is to be judged by how far down the tree it is and how many prerequisite Techs and Masts fall before it.

Taking the system of making your own techniques has simply been implemented into this tree. For each prereq ability, you are alloted 1 point. For instance...

You need Strength 1 and Hit Point 1 for Sharns Grip. Strength 1 Grants +1 for damaging effects - (worth 1 point) Hit Point 1 grants 1 bonus hitpoint per level (worth 2 points) Sharns grip is auto worth 1 point for taking up a slot plus the bonus of needing 2 other abilities to get it. (Thus Making Sharns Grip worth 3 points)

    Sharns Grip - +1 D, +1 Acc, +1 Agility. That's 3 points worth of spending.

This isn't exactly what Sharns Grip does but you get the point.

However you wish to make your own skill tree you can. You could even make a tree with a bunch of Techs and Masts... each one with no prereqs! Thus making your tree, 30.... 1 point abilities. OR on the other hand you could make All 29 out of your 30 abilities lead to that one ultimate technique that in the end is worth 30 points.

    The possibilities are endless.

This simple point system should make it so all players can easily participate in the making of skill trees without the need for complication.

    Experience, Questing, Leveling Simplified

So far we've had some trouble dealing with keeping track of EXP and leveling for some people. So, i've thought up of a new system based around that easy point system. You start off at level 1 with 0/10 points. Based on how hard combat is you gain points. An Even match is worth about 5 points. You fight 2 Even Match's and you have a level. Next level 0/10 points again. Exploring a new area is worth 1 point, depending on it's location and quests are worth various amounts.

Fighting a decent challenge can grant 2-3 points, easier prey is worth 1 and anything to easy is worth none. Players will continuosily revolve around this 0/10 point scheme upon every new level.

This simple point system keeps us away from huge exp numbers along with less math. Along with making my life 30X easier because previously I had to play with giant amounts of EXP for every one of the 50 some characters I had gaining exp.

I can simply say, gentlemen.. 4 points each. :D

Our erasers will finally be given the break they need.

Point System for Combat ( Atk, Acc, Agil ect... )

Instead of having the big numbers to add up for gaining levels in Attack i.e. having an attack level of 45 grants +2.

We will go back to the drawing board once again. We will be looking at more simplified numbers similar to the statistics in D&D. An Attack of 1-2 is equal to a 0 modifier.

Moving up to 3 - 4 it will be +1 modifier.

How do you gain these levels youre asking? Each race based on their best trait we will use Frants for example will gain an Attack point every 2 levels. Since they have the maxiumum strength out of all races.

Along with your racial bonus of receiving their natural ability you'll also get 1 point of spending every 3 levels to place on whatever statistic of your choosing.

Along with that I should also just add in that you get a skill tree point every level to activate another one of your skill tree points.
